What's KBD?  It's Kick Butts Day, and this year, it's happening on Wednesday, April 2, 2008.  Youth advocates from across the country and around the world will be organizing activism events to speak out about the tobacco industry and other tobacco issues in their communities.

Catalyst will be celebrating KBD later that week on Saturday, April 4th, at events in Rochester and Morgan.  We'll be hitting up a paint ball competition in Rochester and a Carnival in Morgan by day, and we'll be hosting Killer Quotes tour stops in Rochester and New Ulm by night.

What can you do for KBD?  If you are not in the Rochester/Morgan/New Ulm areas, don't worry, there is still plenty you can do!

Check out www.kickbuttsday.org for all kinds of ideas.  They have a ton of fast, easy, inexpensive activism events that you can organize with a few friends and a as little as a few hours at your school or in your community.  Don't miss the Catalyst summit cameo appearances on the KBD website and guide! And be sure to check out Catalyst's Instant Activism page for more event suggestions.

If you do decide to organize an event, don't forget to register it at www.kickbuttsday.org, and email Holly at Catalyst to let her know what you are up to so we can feature it on the Catalyst site!  holly@bethecatalyst.org
