Groups from all across the country converged on Winston Salem for the annual RJ Reynolds shareholders meeting. RJR makes Camel cigarettes as well as many others, and each year there is a huge protest there, bringing attention to their deadly product. Here are the some pics and news coverage. It's awesome!

Young activists will converge upon the 2008 Reynolds American Shareholders Meeting in Winston-Salem, N.C. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 to highlight the egregious ways the company is marketing its products to teenagers, especially young women.

"Teen-led anti-tobacco groups are traveling to Winston-Salem to shed light on corporate tobacco's manipulative strategies," said Anna White of the corporate accountability group Essential Action. "This exploitation increases the number of young people who begin to use and become addicted to deadly tobacco products."
